Josh James NYCHoops

Leaving the travel road behind, Archbishop Stepinac’s next rising star,Josh James can now reap the benefits of his hard work. This Class of 2013 player picked up two new of offers to add to one he already received.

During the first week of the live period at Hoop Group in PA, the 6’1″/170lb young guard caught the attention of college coaches and received his first offer from St Peters. James has played with the 16U Gauchos travel team this summer and just finished his final road trip to the AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL last weekend.

NYCHoops.net spoke with Archbishop Stepinac head coach Tim Phillipthis week who says James has new offers toad to his list. “Josh has offers from Stonybrook and Manhattan College along with St. Peters. He also has strong interest from Iona but they have not offered him yet,” said Phillip.

The new offers and interest are no surprise to coach Phillip who says James has always been a team leader. “Josh’s biggest strength is his basketball IQ. He plays the game the right way and makes his teammates better,” he said.

This upcoming season make sure you add Archbishop Stepinac High School to your schedule and watch this young prospect that is on the rise.
