Brickhouse commits

TEAM FRENJI player DAQUAN BRICKHOUSE of Peekskill got his college scholarship offer last month and this past weekend the dynamic point guard took the offer and ran with it and committed to Central Conn State and the Blue Devils. Joining fellow Frenji Alumni Kenny Horton will be a great look for the team and DQ. We congratulate DQ and his D1 dream coming true. DQ will be in action tomorrow night in the CYP Tourney with TEAM FRENJI at 830pm.

Follow Big Brother

TEAM FRENJI would like to introduce you to the newest member of the family. His name has a familiar last name and the game may just be just as dazzling. Port Chester has long been known for excellent basketball players. In recently years none have made as much noise as Alumni and starting Point Guard at Northwood University as Melvin Calhoun. Porky was an All-State guard back in 2005 and now runs the show for the #11 nationally ranked NAIA Seahawks and Rollie Massimino.

Now following in his footsteps is little brother KAYSON CALHOUN who is already bigger than his big brother, standing 5’10 and about to go into the 9th grade at Port Chester this September. Kayson will play with the 14u TEAM FRENJI AAU squad coached by Paul Staubi. We are happy to have yet another family player join up with the program. Keep an eye out for the name Kayson Calhoun as he plays next year in the blue and white for the Rams of Port Chester HS.
