We caught up with DQ and he is focused on winning Peekskill another Sectional title this week. Head Coach Howir Dickenman visited Daquan in practice last Monday and assistant Steve Curran was on hand for the win vs Pelham. With a qualiyfing SAT score DQ can breath easier and focus on another chip for Peekskill. He will look to visit CCSU at the end of the season and officially sign with a D1 school in April. Catching up with Sean Carter

TEAM FRENJI Alumni 6’9 SEAN CARTER of UMASS is doing quite well after transferring from Oregon State two years ago. We caught up with “S.” as he is known last week. Sean is coming off one of his most impressive performances last night going for 11pts – 19rebs and 3blocks in a crucial A-10 win verses Duquesne on the road. Sean is currently averaging 6ppg and 7rpg and has started all 23 games this season. Here is a quote from his Head Coach Derek Kellogg: KELLOGG ON CARTER: “Sean Carter’s been fantastic. He’s one guy that has exceeded my expectation level of him coming in from the way he competes every day, his enthusiasm with the guys and it seems like he just loves going to school here. He loves being on campus and he’s a guy that you’d love to build your program around. He’s a fun person and I think he’s got a chance to be a special player here. His athleticism and his size is something you just can’t teach and he’s willing to work and learn every day which is a great trait to have.” We wish Sean the best of luck as they look to capture that A-10 title and an NCAA berth.
